If you did’nt already know Chris Evans is best known for his star roles in Not Another Teen Movie, The Fantastic Four, and now he will be known as The Captain America “First Avenger.” It would be safe to say that you could consider Chris to be a celebrity fitness role model.
Thoughout each of his movie one thing has always been clear CHris keeps himself in excellent shape. He Is sporting a really nice V-taper and a set of washbosrd abs most guys would kill for.
How Does He do It?
Chris’s workout and diet are built on consistency and dedication, But he will be the first to state it is not so much the exact exercises he was doing but the principles in which he instilled to get in shape. He says he made it a point to regularly workout and eat a clean diet on a regular basis through his intense dedication since high school. Chris also pointed out that he hates running on a treadmill and prefers playing sports like football, and basketball for his cardio.
Chris Evans Captain America And Human Torch Weight Training Workout:
From what I have read on the internet, Chris’s weight training workout consisted of some basic bodybuilding exercises. From disecting his physique through youtube videos and pictures he did alot of focused upperbody training. Some key things that stood out to me:
It is obvious from looking at pics that Chris spent alot of time really working on his delts some great exercises for getting shoulders like his are Lateral raises from all angles, front, side, and bent over. You can also concentrate on seated shoulder presses to really add size to them.
Once again from looking at photos, Chris is no stranger to heavy chest training. If you want to get a chest like his I would focus alot on heavy incline presses to really define the upper chest and finish with cable crossovers to really bring out that definitive line throughout your entire chest.
I will be back soon with some more Info as the movie captain america gets closer to being released but untill then I believe the best way to achieve a body like Chris Evans is to follow A proven system designed to give you a lean hollywood physique, not a bulky bodybuilder. Check out the Video Below To see how to achieve this type of physique.
(Squats and Deadlifts add a lot of muscle in all the wrong places (your hips, butt and thighs). Bench presses add muscle to your lower pecs causing them to look rounded and droopy.)
